*Full-time Student Registration: The registrant must be a full-time student at the time of registration. A letter of verification from the Department Chair must accompany student registration. Any registration received without a verification letter will not be processed. Copies of student identification cards are not acceptable. Note:

  • For each accepted paper to be included in the CEC 2007 Proceedings, at least one of the authors must register for the conference. One student registration covers one paper for which the student is among the authors. A maximum of two papers will be accepted for each IEEE member/non-member registration. Each additionally accepted paper associated with the same registration will be subject to a mandatory publication fee of SGD 350. The deadline for author registration is 25 June 2007. If you register late, your paper may not appear in the proceedings. Please provide the paper number(s) that you want to pay for with this registration.
  • The page limit for each paper is eight (8). Up to two additional pages will be permitted for a charge of SGD 250 per additional page. For your paper to be included in the CEC 2007 Proceedings, over page charges need to be paid at the same time as your paper registration deadline, 25 June 2007.
  • No printed proceedings will be made available at the congress.
  • All registrants will receive one copy of the CD-ROM Proceedings. You can purchase an additional CD-ROM for SGD 80 each.
  • If you wish to purchase (additional) banquet ticket, it will cost SGD 100 each.
  • Additional CD-ROM Proceedings could be purchased at the conference registration desk.
  • If you wish to purchase (additional) banquet ticket, it will cost SGD 100 each, and it can be purchased at the conference registration desk.

The participant acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge damage claims against the organizer or its appointed PCO should the holding of the conference be hindered or prevented by unexpected political or economic events or generally by force majeure, or should the nonappearance of speakers or other reasons necessitate programme changes. With registration, the participant accepts this proviso.

Payment Details
Payment modes available are: Credit Card or Cheque/Bankdraft

For online payment by credit card (Visa or Mastercard):

  • Complete the online registration and select the payment mode as “Visa” or “MasterCard”.
  • You will be re-directed to a secured payment portal by WorldPay to perform your online payment.
  • Once your transaction is processed, you will receive a confirmation email from WorldPay, followed by the registration confirmation email from the congress manager within the next working day.
  • Please note that if you used another person’s credit card to make the payment, you will be requested to submit the credit card authorization form. This form will be sent to you by email.
  • The merchant name reflected on your credit card bill will be “Integrated Meetings Specialist (Holdings) Pte Ltd”.

For cheques / bankdraft payment:

  • Complete the online registration and select the payment mode as “Cheque” or “Bankdraft”.
  • Please issue the cheque/bankdraft to “Integrated Meetings Specialist (Holdings) Pte Ltd”.
  • Print a copy of the invoice from the online registration system, and mail it, together with the cheque/bankdraft to the secretariat (address as indicated on the invoice).
  • Only cheques / bank drafts drawn from a Singapore bank or foreign bank with a bank branch located in Singapore will be accepted.
  • Please remember to indicate your login ID, name, telephone or email and “CEC 2007” at the back of the cheque/bank draft.
  • Upon receipt of your cheque/bankdraft, you will receive a notification by email.
  • When your cheque/bankdraft is cleared by the bank, you will receive the registration confirmation by email.

For Payments in USD Via Credit Card, kindly follow these instructions:

  • Select a registration package and proceed to the payment page.
  • You will be lead to a secure payment portal after selecting your mode of payment.
  • Kindly scroll and select the amount to be paid in USD.
  • The amount will automatically be converted from SGD to USD using the currency exchange rate of the day.

For Payments in USD via Bank Draft, kindly follow these instructions:

  • Select a registration package and proceed to the payment page.
  • Select 'Bank Draft' as mode of payment.
  • Go to a bank with a branch located in Singapore to purchase a bank draft.
  • Kindly use the following exchange rate to convert your SGD payment: 1USD=1.45 SGD.
  • The bank draft should be payable to 'Integrated Meetings Specialist (Holdings) Pte Ltd.
  • Kindly advise the bank officer to attention it to its Singapore branch and not the New York branch. This will save processing time and costs.
  • Write 'CEC 2007', your registration ID, invoice number and email address at the back of the bank draft.

Note:
  1. Registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment.
  2. Registration is NOT transferable.
  3. If you are paying for two tutorials, the Congress Secretariat will contact you later regarding your choice of second tutorial.
  4. If you are paying for additional paper(s) charges, the Congress Secretariat will contact you later regarding your additionally registered paper number(s).

 


The Login ID for registration is DIFFERENT from the one for abstract/paper submission. All registrants have to create an ID for registration by clicking on the "Register" button on the Online Registration System.

Cancellation Policy

  • A 50% refund will only be made for cancellations made in writing and received by the secretariat on or before 24 August 2007.
  • There will be no refund for cancellations made after 24 August 2007.
  • Any other refunds will be made at the sole discretion of the organizer.
  • Refunds (if any) will be made after the conference.
  • Request for registration cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the conference secretariat.
